Where the Grand Hotel Seeschloesschen SPA and Golf Resort is situated nowadays, there was once a restaurant with the name of “Seeschloesschen” which opened in 1908; over the years it developed into a five-star-superior hotel, the only one of its category in Timmendorfer Strand.
Since its inception, the Hotel Seeschloesschen has been managed privately by the von Oven family, their long experience and tradition is reflected in the atmosphere of the establishment.
A 36-hole golf course has belonged to the Grand Hotel Seeschloesschen since March 2008, the biggest golf course in North Germany.
