Stars am Strand celebrates its 10th anniversary over two weekends from 3 to 6 September and 10 to 13 September. International and German top acts such as Andrea Berg, Robin Schulz, Jan Delay, Wincent Weiss and comedy with Otto & die Friesenjungs will ensure unforgettable summer evenings right on the beach at Timmendorfer Strand.

On 7 November, Timmendorfer Platz will be transformed into a sparkling sea of lights for the ‘Timmendorf strahlt’ event. This free event traditionally marks the start of the Advent and Christmas season. From 27 November to 1 January 2027, visitors can enjoy the winter and Christmas season at the ‘Musical Winter Dream’ with stalls selling crêpes and mulled wine and over 150,000 lights creating a festive atmosphere.

On Friday, 4 December 2026, the atmospheric Fischers Wiehnacht (Fishermen's Christmas) will begin in the harbour of Niendorf/Ostsee. Until 6 December 2025, visitors can look forward to a free, lovingly designed Christmas celebration right on the harbour's edge.

During Advent, from 23 November to 30 December, Lübeck transforms into the festive “Christmas City of the North”. The historic squares of Lübeck’s old town provide an atmospheric setting for traditional Christmas markets and craft stalls.
