The golf course Hohwacht extends over a total of 120 hectares and impresses with his location on the lake and the proximity to the Hohwacht Bay (Baltic Sea). The facility has an 18-hole and 9-hole course and extensive exercise facilities in the "Golfodrom". Built in 1992 and designed by renowned golf course architects, the courses stand out for their wide fairways.
In addition to a picturesque view over the adjacent rapeseed fields, the Hohwachter Platz with his 18 holes offers equally golfing challenge and fun. At more than 6,000 meters in length, you will find around 43 bunkers, tricky water hazards and as a signature hole an island green that has no equal. For additional golfing pleasure the par 72 course can be combined perfectly with the 9 holes of the Neudorfer Platz.
The Neudorfer Platz can be played in the tournament with its par 32 and is also available for golfers without a membership in the German Golf Association. All you need to do is qualify for your golf game on this short round, making the 9 holes particularly popular with newbies and friends of the fast-paced round. The course extends for 2,000 meters around the exercise facilities of the golf course, the Golfodrom.
Unique in Schleswig-Holstein, the Golfodrom proudly covers 5 hectares and offers 150 tee-off pitches, from which target greens of different difficulty levels can be played. The routing around the ring-shaped exercise facility makes it possible to tailor your tee-off direction to your individual training sessions. In addition to the practice facilities, there is also a branch of the Leadbetter Golf Academy around top golf coach Paul Dyer in our Golfodrom.
