Information on the current situation

Dear guests,

we are very pleased to welcome you back to our Grand Hotel Seeschlösschen! Our opening can only take place under strict general conditions. We have clearly summarised these for you on this page.

Please note: As we have learned in the past months, circumstances can change very quickly. We make every effort to keep this page up to date at all times. However, please understand that all information on this page is without guarantee.

Status: 21.09.2021

Basic hygiene rules

  • Please always wear a medical mask in the public areas of the hotel.
  • Please keep a minimum distance of 1.5 m from other guests at all times. Distance markings on the floor make it easier for you to maintain the distance requirement.
  • Hygiene dispensers for hand disinfection are available in all public areas - please use them regularly.
  •  Please sneeze and cough into the crook of your arm.

Compulsory testing and exemptions for vaccinated and recovered persons

  • All guests (incl. children from 7 years of age) require proof of vaccination/gene or a negative PCR test or a rapid antigen test not older than 48 hours upon arrival. The test must be carried out before the start of the journey and can therefore not be carried out at the holiday destination. For school children, a certificate from the school confirming mandatory twice-weekly testing is sufficient.
  • You are fully vaccinated from the 15th day after the second vaccination. You count as recovered 28 days to max. 6 months after an infection.

Contact tracing

  • In Schleswig-Holstein, hotels and restaurants no longer collect contact tracking data.

In case of infection

  • In the event of a positive COVID-19 finding during the stay, the affected guest is obliged to immediately go into quarantine after consultation with the health authority. This shall take place at the guest's own expense either in a holiday flat provided for this purpose or at the guest's place of residence. Quarantine in the hotel is not possible.

Protective measures in the hotel

  • The concept builds on our already high standards of hygiene and reinforces them with special measures to protect against viral diseases. Public areas with an increased number of people are cleaned more intensively. At the same time, exposed surfaces are regularly disinfected.
  • Our housekeeping staff have been trained in the new safety and hygiene measures. These include increased cleaning intensity as well as intensified hygiene controls.
  • In our public areas you will find a wayfinding system that will always take you safely to your destination. Distance markings on the floor make it easier for you to keep your distance.
  • All keys and room cards are disinfected before re-use.
  • Please use lifts separately or only with people from your room community.
  • The children's playroom will remain closed until further notice.

SPA area

  • Currently, the indoor and outdoor pools, the saunas, the fitness room as well as the relaxation rooms on the ground floor are open under restrictions. Please note, however, that these areas may be closed again at any time as the level of infection increases and we therefore reserve the right to make changes at short notice!
  • Access is via the 1st floor through the swimming pool changing rooms.
  • For massage or cosmetic treatments, proof of vaccination/recovery or a negative test result on the day is required.
  • The changing rooms and showers are at your disposal.

  • In order to ensure the safety of our guests, especially children, our restaurant will remain open for house guests only. We ask for your understanding that for this reason, unfortunately, no out-of-house guests can be received at the moment.
  • Due to the current situation, short-term tightening on the part of the district government cannot be ruled out.

  • For breakfast, we have limited the number of seats in our restaurants. We have arranged the available seating so that we maintain the minimum distance of 1.5 m between tables.
  • There are fixed breakfast times for which you can register on arrival.
  • For an additional charge, we will be happy to serve your breakfast directly to your room.

  • Currently, a maximum of 25 people are allowed to meet in Schleswig-Holstein (children under 14 do not count).
  •  The "3G rule" currently applies indoors in restaurants in Schleswig-Holstein: vaccinated (geimpft), recovered (genesen), tested (getestet). For school children, a certificate from the school confirming mandatory twice-weekly testing is sufficient.
