Information on the current situation

Dear guests,

we are very pleased to welcome you back to our Grand Hotel Seeschlösschen! Our opening can only take place under strict general conditions. We have clearly summarised these for you on this page.

Please note: As we have learned in the past months, circumstances can change very quickly. We make every effort to keep this page up to date at all times. However, please understand that all information on this page is without guarantee.

Status: 12.07.2021

Basic hygiene rules

  • Please always wear a medical mask in the public areas of the hotel.
  • Please keep a minimum distance of 1.5 m from other guests at all times. Distance markings on the floor make it easier for you to maintain the distance requirement.
  • Hygiene dispensers for hand disinfection are available in all public areas - please use them regularly.
  •  Please sneeze and cough into the crook of your arm.

Compulsory testing and exemptions for vaccinated and recovered persons

  • All guests (incl. children from 6 years of age) require a negative PCR test or a rapid antigen test, which is not older than 48 hours and must be presented upon arrival. Fully vaccinated persons (from the 15th day after the second vaccination) and convalescents (28 days to max. 6 months after infection) are exempt from this requirement if they identify themselves with their vaccination certificate or PCR test.
  • By booking, you agree to have a further rapid antigen test carried out once 72 hours after arrival. This is compulsory for all travellers over 6 years of age and must be presented at reception. For this purpose, you can use our public test centres on site (an overview of all test centres can be found here). Fully vaccinated persons (from the 15th day after the second vaccination) and convalescents (28 days to max. 6 months after infection) are exempt from this requirement if they identify themselves with their vaccination certificate or PCR test.

Contact tracing

  • Each guest is required to provide the contact tracking information (first and last name, address, mobile number and/or email address) upon arrival.
  • The Luca app is used on site for secure and easy contact tracing - we therefore recommend that you install the app on your smartphone before you start your trip and store your contact details. On site, you can then easily check in at the restaurants and shops using a QR code.

In case of infection

  • In the event of a positive COVID-19 finding during the stay, the affected guest is obliged to immediately go into quarantine after consultation with the health authority. This shall take place at the guest's own expense either in a holiday flat provided for this purpose or at the guest's place of residence. Quarantine in the hotel is not possible.

Protective measures in the hotel

  • The concept builds on our already high standards of hygiene and reinforces them with special measures to protect against viral diseases. Public areas with an increased number of people are cleaned more intensively. At the same time, exposed surfaces are regularly disinfected.
  • Our housekeeping staff have been trained in the new safety and hygiene measures. These include increased cleaning intensity as well as intensified hygiene controls.
  • In our public areas you will find a wayfinding system that will always take you safely to your destination. Distance markings on the floor make it easier for you to keep your distance.
  • A large plexiglass desk has been installed at reception as a special protective measure.
  • All keys and room cards are disinfected before re-use.
  • Please use lifts separately or only with people from your room community.
  • The children's playroom will remain closed until further notice.

SPA area

  • Currently, the indoor and outdoor pools, the saunas, the fitness room as well as the relaxation rooms on the ground floor are open under restrictions. Please note, however, that these areas may be closed again at any time as the level of infection increases and we therefore reserve the right to make changes at short notice!
  • Access is via the 1st floor through the swimming pool changing rooms.
  • Please provide your contact details for use via registration in the Luca app or the contact form available on site.
  • A maximum of 25 people (incl. children) are allowed in one room at the same time. Please refrain from using the facilities if the maximum number of people has already been reached!
  • The changing rooms and showers are at your disposal.

Restaurants

  • Our restaurants are currently only open for house guests. This offers the advantage that our house guests (apart from the necessary tests for arrival as described under point "Compulsory testing and exceptions for vaccinated and recovered persons") do not have to present any additional tests for daily restaurant use. We would like to make our guests' holidays more pleasant and therefore kindly ask for the understanding of our out-of-house guests.

Breakfast

  • For breakfast, we have limited the number of seats in our restaurants. We have arranged the available seating so that we maintain the minimum distance of 1.5 m between tables.
  • There are fixed breakfast times for which you can register on arrival.
  • For an additional charge, we will be happy to serve your breakfast directly to your room.

Other

  • Outdoor restaurants can only be visited with a negative COVID-19 PCR test (not older than 48 hours) or antigen test (not older than 24 hours). There may also be facilitation in the context of outdoor dining.
  • Currently, a maximum of 10 people are allowed to meet in Schleswig-Holstein (the number of households is irrelevant).
